The wire wheels display blemishes to the chrome finish and are fitted with older Semperit tires. The seller notes scratches on the rear fender, and the run switch housing is damaged. A single headlight is mounted below the handlebars, a brake light is fitted at the rear, and marker lights are located on both sides of the fork and rear fender. Features include a 0.85-gallon fuel tank, pedal start, a brown-upholstered seat with Puch lettering, and a polished accessory rack. The bike is finished in silver and features color-keyed fenders, a polished handlebar, black handgrips, and Puch decals on both sides of the frame. This Newport is now offered at no reserve with a tire pump, tools, and transferable Vermont registration. The bike was recently acquired by the seller, and maintenance performed since is said to have included a replacement fuel line. This 1978 Puch Newport is powered by a 49cc two-stroke single paired with a single-speed transmission and is finished in silver with a brown-upholstered seat.
